The Video and audio part of the content undergo various stages of processing to ensure that the final out achieved is synchronized in terms of audio and video, at the same time the originality is untouched. The restored video in digital format needs to be preserved for future access. Media Archival & Storage ensures that the content which has been digitized is accessible as a back-up in case of data loss.

Transcoding

We enable virtually any profile transcoding for your demand which opens up the monetization scopes much bigger. Transcoding is the process by which the streams (Audio/ Video) would be converted into multiple resolutions / data rate enabling the content get adaptive. The solution for seamless streaming in multiple formats without manual interface of selection on the playout format. Technically, transrating and transsizing is taken care of in this process.

Content Preparation and Aggregation

The process starts by understanding the project goal of complete localization which would be generally multilingual. This means the content for that many number of language dubbing, voice-overs and subtitling required based on the target audience. This is incorporated into the video such that the language would be default based on region and any other language would be based on selection. After this phase, the next would be aggregation that is multiple format output, perfection is standard, wrapping or aggregation for a video to play native irrespective of platform /codecs/ format.

Metadata Cataloguing

Simple keyword search to extensive key frame searching is possible with the metadata, giving more details and helps organizing the asset better. Metadata generally may be defined as data which describes about the data which is available in any storage. The summarization of data which would help locating data easier in any particular instance is called as Metadata cataloguing. Example a clip of a particular data based on date, location, etc … this assistance provided to locate the same in content in the shortest possible time.

Whether you are a small studio or a big TV station, there is always a need to preview video sources. Nowadays it’s not enough to monitor SDI inputs, IP streams are a must as well. In addition to monitoring both input types, our multiviewer works as an audio mixer as well, allowing audio preview of any input source on the TV monitor. Closed captioning is not shown just an indicator showing whether CC is present or not, instead it is showing full CC text overlays. It also sends emails and displays visual as well as audio warnings in case of any issues with the input stream. And of course, multiple clocks can be added.

Video Logging

Recording and archiving your stations on-air output is of upmost importance for quality control. A plus would be the ability to export a portion of the recording, providing an easy way to send air proof to clients. Our video logger provides these functionalities and in addition allows monitoring of audio waveform and measures average volume level in dBs. It also preserves closed captioning thus providing full signal monitoring.

    X-keys and ControllerMate

  • X-keys and ControllerMate have enjoyed a long and mutually beneficial relationship, but, for a number of reasons, ControllerMate is no longer being supported. While we are actively looking for alternatives X-keys owners can use our USB keyboard and mouse emulation features in hardware mode. Setup and programming will need to be performed on a PC with our MacroWorks or X-keys Basic applications, but then the X- keys can be transferred to a Mac and it will reliably reproduce USB keyboard and/or mouse commands.

    MacroWorks 3.1 and Hardware Mode

  • Download and install MacroWorks on a PC (or in a drive partitioning app like Boot Camp running Windows Vista or newer). When launching MacroWorks, select Hardware Mode programming. This will store keystrokes and/or mouse macros in the memory of the X- keys. After programming and writing the macros into the X- keys, move it to the Mac for operation (or reboot your system out of Boot Camp). NOTE: special keys like F13- F24 can be found under the Functions tab when programming a key and may be used in combination with modifier keys to avoid conflicts with default keyboard shortcuts.

X- Keys Android App

X-keys Android App reads and writes programming on X-keys Android units. X-keys buttons and pedals can send keyboard commands, mouse actions, game controller controls, multimedia commands, and touches or swipes.

    Backlighting Utility

  • Description: A standalone program for setting the intensity and state of backlighting LEDs on the X-keys which have them. Set the intensity level from 0-255 on each bank and toggle the state of each LED under each key. The profile created is then written to the memory of the X-keys and will become the new default backlighting configuration. This is perfect for creating backlighting profiles for X-keys used in applications which do not control backlighting.

    Mouse Cursor Utility

  • Description: Identifies and captures the location of a mouse cursor and registers clicks on any Windows application. Coordinates are listed as pixels in the X and Y direction from the top left corner of the display. Perfect for defining coordinates to program an absolute mouse click. This utility is included in our MacroWorks 3.1 programming software under the Tools menu.

  • Requirements: Windows XP through 10; Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0

    Erase Hardware Utility

  • Description: Easily clear out the memory of any XK series X-keys. Perfect for preparing previously owned X-keys for reuse or wiping stored memory for security purposes. This utility is included in our MacroWorks 3.1 programming software under the Tools menu.

    Device Finder

  • Description: Perfect for troubleshooting connectivity issues with X-keys. Locate an X-keys on your system regardless of mode or product ID. This utility is included in our MacroWorks 3.1 programming software under the Tools menu.
